Our stay was nothing short of exceptional. Vanessa’s attention to detail truly sets her properties apart. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every element of the space was thoughtfully curated with the guest experience in mind—clean, comfortable, well-organized, and welcoming.
What stood out most was the distinct care Vanessa shows for her patrons. It’s evident that she doesn’t just provide a place to stay; she creates an environment where guests feel valued, considered, and at ease. The small touches throughout the property reflected intentionality and pride in her work, which made our stay feel personal rather than transactional.

Unfortunately, the host Vanessa is really not a good person. I last minute booked one of her many places in Fort Lauderdale, FL over Christmas. I arrived at the house less than 24 hours after booking and noticed a weird smell and dusty feeling throughout the place. Within a few minutes my throat started to close up, I have asthma so this does happen on rare occasion in lesser clean environments. I notified the host right away, she replied she was away and couldn't do anything about it. I said okay and asked if it would be fine if I didn't stay and I would forgo one nights fee. I thought this was very reasonable given the fact that I only held the listing for 24 hours. She didn't respond until the next day where she coerced me into cancelling the listing by giving me a time limit to cancel to recieve a smaller partial refund. She did so bc my canceling forgos airbnbs involvement. She also literally told me she deserved the money and lost money because of this. Very greedy host.

Our stay was above expectation. I’ve stayed in the area a lot over the years, so I know the neighborhoods well and would definitely return if it’s available. This is a great place and I think these streets off the canals are very peaceful and super safe. It was nice to relax on the seating area of the deck in the mornings. My guests used the hot tob and they enjoyed it. The master had a direct door to outside and the room is huge. I appreciated the use and quality of rugs in that room. Both bathrooms were great and the kitchen was spacious. It’s a house perfect for 3-4 people. I like the convenience to the Hard Rock, but also how close it is to Dania Pointe which has a lot of great restaurants and a Sprouts.

Very clean house, very clean barbecue, very responsive host, very easy check in n out. one small downside is, the neighbors’ houses are closer than i expected, no problems at all but i had the idea of less busy environment during our dinners at the pier.
